My venue is two places.
The way of expression is different, but both of them have the concept underlying is same.
“World mutually connected”
The world surrounding us is diverse. It is related to each environment, perception, space-time and so on. We are connected to each other somewhere, even if you can see or not.
One of my venue is the first floor of the Former Daisan Elementary school in Shima Onsen area. (Map No. 25). I express two different kind of plants with wire, and the mirror is as a water image. I try to convey that many things are connected to each other through the motif of plants.
今回は二会場で展示しています。
こちらの会場は四万温泉エリアの旧第三小学校１階です。(Map 25番)
隣り合わせた二部屋とも植物をモチーフとし、床に置かれた鏡は水をイメージしています。
ワイヤーを素材に使って茎やつるが光や水を求め伸びていく様を表現し、
植物というモチーフを通して様々な事象が互いにつながりあい成り立っているという事を示唆しています。
別会場とともに表現方法は違いますが根底にあるコンセプトは同じです。
この事は長い間大事に思っていることです、表現方法や用いる素材は変化していますが色々なことに挑戦しながら追求しています。
「つながりあう世界」
私たちをとりまく世界は多種多様であり、それぞれの環境、知覚、時空などが関わっている。見えるものも見えないものも互いにどこかでつながりあいそこに在るのです。
