アートフェア中之条が、2026年6月13日（土）ー6月21日（日）に開催されます。
今回の展示は、
「きざし」と「Vein《脈》」の2つのシリーズで構成します。
「きざし」に現れる植物的な生成の感覚は、「Vein《脈》」に見られる鉱物的・細胞的な構造へとつながっていきます。
流動する色彩、押し合う境界、広がる粒子。
それらは生物と無生物のあいだを行き来しながら、自然界を貫く流れや、異なる存在に共通する形成の原理を示します。
生物と無生物、ミクロとマクロのあいだに反復される構造を、素材そのものの振る舞いと向き合いながら、判断、選択、加筆を重ねて作品化しています。

「きざし」
アルキド樹脂絵具を流し描くと、色は自律的に広がり、にじみ、互いに押し合いながら境界をつくります。そこへ加筆することで、流動していた色彩は、少しずつ方向を持ち始めます。
発芽、拡散、伸長、開花、胞子の飛散、光合成。
植物的な現象を思わせますが、具体的な植物を描いているわけではありません。
まだ形になりきらないものが、内側から外へ向かって広がろうとする力。流動する色彩のなかに、生命が輪郭を持つ直前の気配や運動を捉えたシリーズです。
「Vein《脈》」
Veinには、鉱脈、水脈、血脈など、さまざまな「脈」の意味があります。
蝋絵具が熱で溶け、冷えて固まり、層を成し、削られる。
エンコウスティックの制作過程は、鉱物の生成や地層の堆積、内部構造の露出を思わせます。
マーブリングでは、液面上で絵具が広がり、互いに押し合いながら境界を生む現象を取り込みます。
そこに現れる形は、鉱物、細胞、菌糸、海流、宇宙雲のようにも見え、生物と無生物、ミクロとマクロのあいだを揺れ動きます。
ひとつの尺度に定まらないその見え方に、自然界の構造がスケールを超えて反復する様相を重ねています。

Art Fair Nakanojo opens on June 13 – 21.
This exhibition brings together two series: Kizashi and Vein.
The sense of vegetal emergence found in Kizashi develops into the mineral and cellular structures seen in Vein.
Flowing color, boundaries formed through pressure, and particles spreading across the surface—these elements move between the organic and the inorganic, suggesting currents that run through the natural world and principles of formation shared across different forms of existence.
Through the behavior of the materials themselves, I repeatedly observe, judge, select, and intervene, translating structures that recur between the organic and the inorganic, and between the microscopic and the macroscopic, into works of art.
Kizashi
Alkyd resin paint is poured onto the surface, where the colors spread autonomously, bleed into one another, press against each other, and form boundaries.
Through additional painted interventions, these flowing forms gradually begin to acquire direction.
Germination, diffusion, growth, flowering, the dispersal of spores, photosynthesis.
Although these forms may evoke vegetal phenomena, I am not depicting specific plants.
Rather, this series seeks to capture the force of something not yet fully formed as it expands from within toward the outside—the presence or movement of life just before it takes on a distinct contour.
Vein
The word vein carries multiple meanings: a mineral vein, a water vein, a blood vessel, and other branching channels.
Wax paint melts under heat, cools, solidifies, forms layers, and is then scraped back.
This encaustic process recalls the formation of minerals, the accumulation of geological strata, and the exposure of internal structures.
In the marbling process, I incorporate the phenomenon of pigments spreading across a liquid surface and pressing against one another to generate boundaries.
The forms that emerge may resemble minerals, cells, fungal hyphae, ocean currents, or cosmic clouds. They shift between the organic and the inorganic, and between microscopic and macroscopic scales.
In these unstable shifts of scale, I see structures of the natural world repeating beyond any single dimension.
